Rain outside the suite window on a rainy St. Pete day — The Bronze Lily, St. Petersburg, FL

For visitors · for locals · for the weekend the sky opened up

Rainy day in St. Pete?

Your indoor plan, already made.

Florida does this — a bright morning, then rain parked over the Gulf all afternoon. The beach day, the pool day, the boat, the theme park: on hold. The Bronze Lily is the indoor pivot ten minutes away — an afternoon of head spa, foot spa, facials, brows, or welded jewelry in a warm 1920s studio while it pours. Walk in for one thing or make an afternoon of it.

Rained out?

When the beach is off, come indoors.

If your St. Pete beach, pool, or outdoor day is rained out, The Bronze Lily is an indoor beauty + wellness studio you can book same-day, seven days a week, from 7 AM to 11 PM. It is a short car or rideshare from any downtown or beach hotel, with a private lot so you are not walking in the rain. Come for a single service or spend the whole gray afternoon: Japanese head spa, the Root Room herbal foot spa, a tailored facial, lash lift & tint, brows, teeth whitening, or welded permanent jewelry you wear home as the souvenir.

Groups whose plans just collapsed — bachelorettes, girls’ trips, families — are exactly who we keep the afternoon open for.

The pivot

Rain moved in. Here’s the plan.

Pick by how much of the afternoon you want to give it:

Got two hours to fill → Japanese Head Spa. Mostly massage — cranial, neck, shoulder — under a warm halo of water. You walk out, in our clients’ words, “put back together.” Tiers run 30 minutes to 2 hours; we’ll match one to your afternoon.

Want to talk, stay cozy → the Root Room herbal foot spa. Foot soak, ceremonial tea pairing, PODOPHARM treatment, red light. Solo $95, duo $180. The most calming room in Tampa Bay when it’s gray out.

Rain-day reset for your skin → a tailored facial. Mini $70, Signature Lily $105, Anti-Aging with microcurrent $125. Humidity and travel skin, handled.

Low-lift polishLash Lift & Tint ($100, no extensions, 6–8 weeks), Brow Wax + Shape ($25), or a Dermaplaning Mini ($70). In and out.

Brighten for dinner plansTeeth Whitening $150, 4–8 shades in 45–60 minutes. The night’s still salvageable.

Take the day home with you → welded permanent jewelry. Sterling bracelet $55, gold-filled $60, welded on in minutes. A rained-out afternoon becomes the keepsake.

One thing we won’t put on a rainy-day list: a spray tan. A fresh tan can’t get wet for hours, and rain is its one true enemy — so we’d rather see you for it on a dry day. Already booked one and now it’s pouring? Here’s exactly what to do →

Plans collapsed for the whole group?

A rained-out group needs a plan for everyone.

When a beach or pool day dies, a bachelorette party, girls’ trip, or family suddenly needs one thing that fits four to six people — indoors, now. That’s a call we take all the time.

  • Couple’s / small-group head spa — up to 3 at once (larger groups split back-to-back: 4=2+2, 5=3+2, 6=3+3)
  • Foot spa duo in the Root Room — two at a time, tea and red light
  • Group teeth whitening — up to 3 simultaneously
  • Welded jewelry as the group activity — everyone picks a chain, we weld them all, everyone leaves with the keepsake and the lobby photo
  • Mobile option: stuck at the Airbnb and don’t want to drive in the rain? We bring welded jewelry and teeth whitening to you (spray tan on dry days). See mobile services.

Make an afternoon of it

A whole indoor St. Pete afternoon.

We’re not the only indoor thing in town, and pretending otherwise wouldn’t help you. If you’re building a rainy-day plan, St. Pete has one of the best indoor culture clusters in Florida — pair any of these with a stop here:

  • The Dalí Museum — the obvious one, and it earns it. Waterfront, world-class Surrealism.
  • The Museum of Fine Arts and The James Museum of Western & Wildlife Art — two more serious collections downtown.
  • The St. Pete Pier — plenty to do under cover, plus food and the marketplace.
  • The Grand Central / EDGE District — walkable shops, coffee, and vintage a few blocks from our door.
  • Local breweries and the Sundial shops — easy, dry, low-key.

Our slot in your day: the calm one. Start or end the afternoon with an hour that’s about you, not a ticket line.

Getting here

From your hotel to our door.

Address: 2851 1st Avenue North, St. Petersburg, FL 33713 — a 1920s converted home in Historic Kenwood / Grand Central.

Private 8-space lot right by the door, so you’re not parking three blocks away in the rain. Short car or rideshare from downtown (~5–10 min) and the beaches (~20–25 min).

Don’t want to leave the hotel? Mobile welded jewelry and teeth whitening come to you. See mobile services.

Rainy Day in St. Pete · Common Questions

Rainy-day FAQ.

It’s raining in St. Pete and our beach day is ruined — what else can we do?

Come indoors. The Bronze Lily is a beauty + wellness studio a short car or rideshare from most hotels, open 7 days a week, 7 AM–11 PM, with same-day openings. Head spa, herbal foot spa, tailored facials, lash, brows, teeth whitening, or welded jewelry — one service or a whole afternoon. Groups welcome. Text 727-218-7045.

Can we get in same-day if it starts raining?

Usually yes — text or call 727-218-7045 and we’ll confirm an artist is on the floor. Rainy afternoons are exactly when we get these calls, so we plan for them.

What’s a good rainy-day activity in St. Pete for a group / bachelorette?

A welded-jewelry session or a split head-spa rotation is the easiest group pivot — one plan that fits four to six people indoors. Custom-quoted, no group minimum. We can also come to your Airbnb for welded jewelry and teeth whitening. See bachelorette.

Should I get a spray tan on a rainy day?

We’d steer you away from it. A fresh spray tan can’t get wet for several hours while it develops, and rain will streak it — so we save spray tans for dry days. Everything else on our menu is perfect rainy-day timing. If you already have one booked, here’s how we get you out dry.

Are you walkable, or will I get soaked getting there?

Short car or rideshare — we’re not walkable from hotels — but we have a private lot right by the door, so it’s car-door to studio-door, not a wet walk.
